Different audiences
Every platform has its own guests. Some search through a search engine, some use the app on their phone, some book through a travel agency. More channels mean access to guests a single channel will never reach.

ACCOMMODATION DISTRIBUTION
Distribution is not just publishing a listing. It is a discipline that connects exposure, rates, availability, calendars and guest communication, and holds them together across every channel.
WHY MORE CHANNELS
Guests do not all look for accommodation the same way. Distribution across several channels is not a luxury, it is how reach grows and dependency on a single source of bookings falls.
Every platform has its own guests. Some search through a search engine, some use the app on their phone, some book through a travel agency. More channels mean access to guests a single channel will never reach.
When one channel carries the whole operation, a rule change, a drop in visibility or a suspended account shows up in the calendar immediately. Several channels spread that risk.
A guest on Booking.com often books differently from a guest on Airbnb: different stay lengths, different lead times, different reactions to cancellation terms. The offer can stand or fall on that difference.
Channels also differ in when their guests travel. A combination of channels naturally helps fill periods that a single channel would struggle to occupy.
WHAT BOOKING MANAGEMENT INCLUDES
A published listing on Booking.com is the visible layer. Beneath it sit rates, policies, availability, reviews and communication that decide how the offer performs long-term. Booking.com management runs those parts as a whole.
How we work with pricing against demand and season is covered in our Insights article on pricing by demand and season, published in Czech. The performance of the offer as a whole continues on the revenue management page.
CALENDAR CONSISTENCY
A property listed on several channels must look and behave the same on each of them. Otherwise the first discrepancy shows up with the guest, and the second in the ratings.
Descriptions, photographs, equipment and stay policies must match reality on every channel. Guests notice differences, and ratings record them.
Availability has a single truth. Synchronisation between channels is not a technical detail but the condition for avoiding double bookings.
Communication, check-in, cleaning and service are the same regardless of where the reservation came from. The guest does not see which platform they booked on, only the quality of the stay.
The specifics of operating on Airbnb are described on the Airbnb management page.
DIRECT BOOKINGS
Alongside the booking platforms there is room for reservations that do not pass through them: returning guests, recommendations and guests who found the property themselves. Direct bookings do not replace channels, they complement them: they bring guests without an intermediary and give the property a history of its own.
